Take a look-Tommy is making progress! His jaw swelling is down almost 50% and he is out of bed more than in it. It is still difficult for him to eat, but we found a baby spoon that Anne left here for Cody last year, and it is just small enough to work well.
Using the Magic Bullet Mom sent me last year, I am able to puree some of his meals. This morning he had “a ‘hankerin for Cream of Wheat” which we no longer buy. It used to be Caleb’s favorite hot cereal before he was gluten free, and we haven’t found a good substitute for it, yet. So I tried an experiment for Tommy that Caleb really liked, also, so it will probably go into our morning meals rotation. I put some of last nights leftover rice in the Bullet with some milk, melted butter, sugar and a splash of vanilla–Yippee! Cream of Not-Wheat (and a good way to use up leftovers)

He looks a lot better since even yesterday. Uggg, it still makes my stomach hurt.
The removal of the “half beard” is a great improvement. When Buddy had his jaw broken by a sucker punch, I fed him a Burger King whopper blended up into a nasty puke looking pulp. He swore it was the best tasting burger ever.
