ya call this SPRING?!

The snow was thick and white on the ground, Sunday morning. It fell in fat flakes, bowing the red tulips and silencing the yellow daffodils…I rushed to take this photo as it started to melt away. It was gone before lunch but the morning miracle had ten little noses pressed against the window glass. Well, truthfully? 12 noses. John and I were pretty amazed too. What a timely reminder that our God is above seasons and calendars, full of power and ultimately in charge. We never know what He has in store for us so EVERY day can be full of anticipation and delight!

And I had to read the days’ verse out loud to show the children that this fun-loving Father also has a great sense of humor!

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.
