Welcome Home.

Lee and Claudia arrived Thursday afternoon! The picture is blurry because my eyes were full of tears and the camera was remembered after the greetings and hugs were already underway…

For such major life changes you pray and plan and prepare. Then, when God blesses?

You praise.

Do you see how Caleb reacted? In three days he has hardly let go of his Grandma. It is finally sinking in.
“So, really? They don’t have to leave this time?”playing with Grandpa…
Home Sweet Home…

We imagined and hoped that the adjustment of living together would be easy and comfortable. Yet we are still so happily surprised at just how natural it has been. Poor Lee had his trial by fire; in transferring any of that old Washington state allegiance right over to his new home. John took his Dad to the U of O Ducks game yesterday, to watch them beat up on the Huskies. Claudia and I are sharing dinner preparations and shopping, and the boys are basking in all the love and spoiling they’ve been looking forward to.

God is so good.

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.
