today’s quote and frogs

“If you have to swallow a frog, do it first thing in the morning. Nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.”

-old American proverb

“If you have to swallow a frog, don’t stare at it too long. It’s not gonna get any prettier.”
-Zig Ziglar

“If you have to swallow two frogs? Start with the bigger one.”
-chinese proverb
What’s your “frog”?
Mine is mopping the floor and ironing clothes. I sweep daily and vacuuming is a chore I actually enjoy, but I have always put off mopping until absolutely necessary…I think it’s because it feels so futile. It looks great for about 12 minutes before little muddy feet come across it!
And I wash, dry and fold 2 loads of laundry, minimum each and every day but ironing is put off until John has only 2 shirts left to wear.
No matter the seasonings I try, I just can’t seem to acquire a taste for amphibians…

I despise mopping! Vacuuming however, you see nice instant results (and vacuum tracks!) that lasts a while :)I hate doing dishes by hand, but thankfully we have a dishwasher. I don’t look forward to scrubbing the bathroom, but that HAS to get done too, lolI understand 🙂
