double your mileage

double your pain!
I changed my goal, and TNT gave the official “okay” so here’s the final-no-turning-back announcement.
I’m not running a HALF marathon, 13.1 miles…I’m running a FULL one…26.2 miles.
And I’m not going to San Francisco for the Nike Womens Race, I’ll be in Portland for this:

so now my fundraising will be easier (I need to raise $1,800 now versus $3,300)

and my children can be there (2 out of 3 begged to come watch and you know Caleb was like “whatever. I can see Mom sweaty anytime.”)

and I don’t have to fly on a plane (my nerves will ALREADY be frayed enough, thank you)

and anyone who wants to can come, and be part of the celebration. You are all officially invited. especially if you know CPR.

and the main reason I switched? Portland has NO half marathon option. I run it all, or not at all.

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.

Hey Brenda, when you click on the team in training icon, it says it can’t find the page. It looks like the http:// was put on there twice. Can you take a look at it? I had to cut and paste and delete, etc. to get to your page.
