what was under the couch.

the battery charger.
three pencils.
a Christmas ornament hanger.
a candy wrapper (Starburst. I think that was from an Easter basket)
a plastic green army man.
a used band-aid.
Chronicles of Narnia book, overdue from the library (We have the series, but Caleb wanted to read it in Spanish. I know. He’s an odd little duck.)
a Nerf dart.
several Lego pieces.
a few small rocks.
a wooden letter ball from the Bingo game.
the directions to a board game.
a paper where Caleb had scrawled “help”. (This is a favorite joke of his. He is always hoping it will send some stranger on a bogus rescue mission.)
a toothpick.
a paperclip.
a screwdriver.

the ephemera of my life.

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.
