It’s beginning to look

a lot like Christmas!

The beautiful treeskirt is completely hidden with gifts.

The family has started making the rounds-Brian, Anne, Cody and Caitlin plus Tony, Tara and Savannah all were here last weekend for early Christmas-gifts exchanged and cookies decorated!

Now it’s John and Candys turn to come down from Spokane, then Deacon, Hilary, Tommy and Mackenzie over from Florence for dinner here, tomorrow. Amy, Sherri, and Noelle will come down on Saturday and we’ll celebrate both Christmas and Noelle’s birthday. How did we rate so blessed as to have all these relatives to turn out to be people whose company we actually enjoy? According to the TV sitcoms, that supposedly never happens.

Oh and you know how I love to cook for a crowd and I am in bliss. The sink and dishwasher are running at full capacity at all times, and all my aprons are spattered in flour…

a sure sign that it’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!

Cody is hooked on adrenaline like most two year olds are addicted to fruit snacks, so the Jack-in-the-Box we chose for him was a big hit! Once he figured out he could pop the lid to make that clown jump instantly, he didn’t bother turning the handle for 12 long seconds of music.

He gets his patience from me, I think.
