dinner al fresco

Sunshine has finally come to Oregon

(the view from our REAL dining table…the one in the house we just use temporarily, for 9 months or so)

Dinner outside? oh, baby…!

it’s my FAVORITE…!

worth fighting off yellow jackets in August…

worth hauling plates outside and back…

worth hearing the neighbors Harley revv up..

(yes. Caleb DID put pineapple up his nose. Clearly, I am in such a state of bliss when dining outdoors that even horrific table manners don’t phase me…)

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.

We laughed at the pineapple in the nose when we looked at the picture up close…but the only comment was…”Wow. Ms. Brenda has a GIANT steak.”
