Happy Independence Day!

(Lets see how many exclamation points I can cram into one post, in order to properly express our excitement level…)

We are going on a mini va-cay!

It’s the first road trip in John’s sweet new car!

Going to stop in Portland this afternoon to hang out with Brian and fam!

Then we spend the night with Aunt Julie and see her home renovations!

Tomorrow we are staying in Spokane with Uncle John and Aunt Candy!

Saturday we’ll head to Priest Lake!

We’re going to spend the rest of the time hanging out at the cabin with Tony and Tara, baby Savannah, Gary and Alana and Christy!

oh and the grandparents will be there-gotta count Lee and Claudia, too!

We hear there are jet-skis!

and a boat!

and fireworks!

also planning for a day of fun at Silverwood amusement park!

There is a roller coaster there with a 61 foot drop that has Sam salivating!

we leave in a few hours!

and I’m not yet packed!

ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though…Have a great 4th of July everyone! This is an amazing country. Weren’t we all just blessed beyond measure to have been born Americans? It’s a privilege and a responsibility, both.

So let’s celebrate!

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.
