Love like this.

This is a grown man (John C.) fighting off his Mom (Claudia) who was trying to secretly put nasty pumpkin guts down his shirt but he saw the twinkle in her eye and recognized it!

I plan and hope to be as great a Mom as she is…

I pray and hope my boys will grow to be as generous and thoughtful as their Uncle John is…

and I know those prayers will be answered when we are still laughing and teasing and throwing food at each other, twenty years from now!

About sparrowjourney

Christian homeschooling mom to three boys, married to my best friend, John, for over 20 years. I love gardening without gloves, learning history with my kids, cooking with lots of butter, serving others, great books, rich coffee, studying the Bible, camping outdoors, scrapbooking, vintage home decor, the smell of rain and cut grass, authentic people, poetry, laughing until your sides hurt, and babies. oh and black licorice is pretty awesome.

    A great relationship clearly!
My kids and I play around like that. I think your children should be able to see you be silly.
